After a long, peaceful sleep in went visited a small, quaint market on the outskirts of town. Had the mist awesome Bannana Mango Smoothie....addicted! Visited Casaurina shopping center and had a fantastic feed of smoked salmon sushi and Miso soup, followed up with a few clothes purchases. At the camp kitchen we BBQ chicken drumsticks, asparagus and corn cob for dinner then watched some tv. Highlight today: Smoothie for breakfast, smoked salmon sushi and buying...

Swam in the lagoon pool this morning then took a trip into town and also visited Cullen Bay. In the evening we visited 'Crustaceans' with Cathy, a seafood restaurant at the end of the wharf. Had some great Oysters, Prawns and Beef Steak. Wandered around the wharf area admiring the smells and the atmosphere on the way home. Highlight today: dinner with Cathy at the wharf

Spent most of the day hanging out at the lagoon pool, playing on the laptop and sleeping. In the afternoon we rode our bikes over to Gaby's house in Palmerston for dinner and drinks, then rode home in the dark. Highlight today: bike riding!

Packed a picnic lunch and headed out to Corroboree Billabong where we joined a boat cruise over the wetlands. Very enjoyable experience as we were able to get close to salt water crocodiles, wild buffalo, Jabiru, Egrets, Fire Birds, Sea Eagles and various dragonflies. The wetlands were very pretty, covered in large Lilly pads with big pink flowers. A very relaxing day! Highlight today: boat cruise

Jumped on our bikes and rode 15km into town on the bike path. The bike path is awesome and runs through the bushland (instead of next to the hwy) and runs out to every suburb in Darwin! Did have a tumble and hit the ground pretty hard (straight path, no obstacles, *bang Jen falls off) lucky we were wearing our helmets.
