Left the pouring rain (290mm in 48hrs) of Kangaroo Valley and went through the mountains to Bowral and Mittagong. Very nice, clean towns but can't see much because of the deluge!! Still raining hard with severe weather warnings being broadcast for this area. 95% of the people are packing up and leaving (probably have to go back to work tomorrow). Last night on the way to the toilets we found a wombat scratching his butt under my car, two baby frogs, a sleeping finch and got swooped by a bat.... It drizzled all night but we had a great sleep and didn't even wake till 9.30 (no wombats under the van).
