Spent a good part of the day sitting under the annex in the warm sun reading. The view is great and so peaceful looking out onto the water! In the afternoon Mel went on a huge bike ride (3 hills over- the middle of the wind farm), whilst I walked through the forest and had a 'blowout' with Havannahs. Had a scrumptious chicken Potkjes for dinner! Highlight today: reading in the sun!

Went to Lithgow, Bathurst and then to Blayney. Not far off Orange (we get to see Adelle yay)! Not much happened today except we did pass the big trout in Oberon (pictured). Camping in a lovely spot near a huge damn, Autumn trees all around us and plenty of red fin in the damn! Opposite is a large wind farm, wonder what speed they turn at.... Guess that would depend on the wind eh. They are not noisy like some people claim, quite attractive really lol. Curren...

Didn't sleep in the tent last night. We felt adventurous and slept in our sleeping bags in front of our King size fire (did have one eye open making sure no snakes tried to cuddle us). Packed up some camping gear this morning and headed down to Kanangra Walls in the Kanangra-Boyd Nation Park. Went on a hike over the 'plateau' which took us along a ridge over the top of some cliffs, looking into the Southern end of the Blue Mountains. While here we visited the 'dancefloor cave' which is an old rocky overhang that used to have a dance floor (wooden one that has now rotted away) to keep the travellers on the stock route entertained! Lazed around all day because we had a little party last night, read some books and had a hot shower in our tent. Went trout fishing for the evening and finally scored a good size trout yay, cooked him over the hot coals for tea (called him Morris). Highlight today: catching a fresh Trout!
