Where' the hell is Jen & Mel?
Jumped on the tour bus (Emu Run) at 6.15am and headed off to Uluru.
After a 4-5hour drive our first stop was the Olgas where we went for a walk through the high red rock face.
A quick visit to the Aboriginal cultural center then out to the base of Uluru. Walked around some of the base and observed the bushland, wind swept rocks and got up close to the huge monolith.
Over 42 people have died when climbing Uluru due to falls, heart attacks etc.
The height of this famous red rock is around 380meters, 9km circumference and weighs one stone!
Watched the sunset over Uluru whilst having a lovely, fresh BBQ and Champagne.
During the trip back home we watched the dish and had a snooze.
Highlight today: Very impressed with Uluru.
