Hello all,

Just to update you on my travels. In our last night of San Fransisco we met a very nice Irish girl who we had a few beverages with, whilst she regailed us with stories of woe as her travelling partner dropped out two days before departure date and managed to cancel both tickets in the process, not cool.

We came to leave SF on a "shuttle" or 9 seater minibus as it is known back home and disaster struck. The man driving said that we were meant to confirm our tickets and as we had not he only had two vacant seats, not three! I got off as miranda and als tickets were on the same slip and the man reassured me that he could take me tomo. Just as I was about to wander off with a very nice group of younguns that decided they would adopt me, the man realised he had miscounted and I was allowed back on, yay!!

The journey took about eight hours, but the seats were comfortable so it didn't seem too bad. We checked in fine and the hostel is ok, tho we appear to be sharing a room with a vagrant, who snuck under the radar.......and snores!

Am about to embark on a day of solo sight seeing, as the girls have gone on an expensive tour, but the sun is out and I'm in a vest top and flip flops, yay!
