The Grace House stall looked good, I wonder who mounted the pictures? If there are any woven mats left from the stall could you buy some for me and I will pay you back, thats if there is room in your luggage. M

To read your blog is almost like being there. I'm pleased things are beginning to settle and you get to spend sometime at Grace House before you return.
Take care, stay safe xx

Fabulous account of your trip Jenny. The roads look really bad in the photos. Glad you enjoyed the Bougainvillier. Hope Matie and Geoff are enjoying the trip. Wet and windy in Devon, the sea is amazing. Meryl x

Just read your blog and seen the photos. Is it really only 6hours since you posted them? We are almost meeting here! Glad it is all improving in time for Mati and Geoff's visit. Have they been before? They look somewhat heated in the photos, which seems strange because here it is balmy and dampish but coats and shoes are still required none-the-less. Will you get time to work now or is the aftermath of the floods still holding everything back? Here the leaves have really turned now and are falling gently- most of the Virginia Creeper has now gone and there are very few berries left on the Yew. Belle is fine and still carrying Donkey around at the hint of any excitement. She likes the chickens better now they are penned- they do not look so scarey on the other side of the mesh. Most of the costumes and props are now finished and I can relax slightly- although I still have words to master sadly. I can't wait for it all to be over. hope conditions continue to improve for you, and do take care

Hope you are enjoying Pnom Penh, best wishes. Meryl

Glad to here there is some improvement, and its not too long until things are back to "normal". Hope your visitors enjoyed their time with you,and what they could experience in the circumstances.
Weather here very changable, we did a natural trail on Tuesday, fund raising for Cades nursery, but coats and fires on later in the week. Tate is being christened tomorror and its his 1st birthday on Wednesday, so double celebration. So relieved he has come through his first year and is making excellent progress.
Money paid in and with gift aid went up to over £100
Take care, stay safe xx.

Hi from dry Devon, rugby fest here with the World Cup and Exeter winning yesterday. Was in Kent for Friday but did not visi t Gillingham. Coffee in Bath Sat was most civilised Ive been for ages. Little improvement in the house but quotes are coming in so decisions to be made. But we are warm and dry, except for a leaky shower! Take care Meryl

Hi Jennifer,
Sorry to hear that it is STILL flooded, I really thought it would have cleared up by now. It was quite a novelty for us when visiting though I can imagine howfustrating it is. The rain in Vietnam has finally caught up with us - most places it would rain for about a couple of hours in the afternoon but since arriving in Hue yesterday it has not stopped. We were planning to hire a bike to visit the pagodas today but all night it was really pouring and is still going strong so we had breakfast in our room and haven't ventured out!
Wishing you sunshine,
Jenny

Hope you are ok considering the awful conditions. It is heartbreaking to think so many people have given up their time and committeed themselves to the project and are not ale to fulfill why they are there.
I have put a notice on the staff board so hope to send Grace House a small donation from Barnsole by the end of next week.
Leanne called in today, looking very rested and relaxed, she is due in 9 days. Lots of illness and bugs around at the moment, class numbers vary each day.
Take care, stay safe

Good to hear from you, but sorry it is flooded again. Take care. Dont know what we can do to help raise money but will keep thinking. Where have Jen and Ric got to now? Into boring stuff like new windows and kitchens here. Have measured kitchen walls and the outer one runs in at an angle losing 13cms off one side of the kitchen. More interesting things to find out about this house. BEST WISHES. MERYL X
