O.K. The first sentence of that last message should have read. . . . . Hi Jenny, I have just read your latest blog .

Always good to meet old pupils. I went to a friend's daughter's wedding on Saturday and met Robert and Rebecca Lindsay. Robert is the boyfriend of the bride's sister! Small world! I'm sorry to say that I hadn't recognised either Robert or Rebecca, but I did at least recognise the parents. Only in as much as I knew their faces. Glad to say they were all gracious enough to forgive me and we all enjoyed the wedding very much.
It was in fact a formality of exchanging vows, because they did the legal deed in Italy (Sacha being Italian) but both Danielle and Sacha said they enjoyed this one more. It was such fun and I even danced, albeit with my walker, but hey- any partner in a storm.
I haven't enjoyed myself so much for a very long time.
Still trying to sell the house so probably best not to linger on that. There's a viewer due this afternoon and another one due tomorrow. There has been quite a lot of interest shown in the house but after the last debacle I'm refusing to get at all interested in any of them till the money is in the bank. The right person will come along and that will be that, an new chapter.
Speaking of which, I'm just reading 'When God Was a Rabbit' and thoroughly enjoying it. I expect you've read it already but if not it's worth getting hold of a copy.
So, enough twaddle. Thinking of you, take care

And here I am whingeing on about weather! I cannot imagine how anyone would stay in a climate that is so unrelenting. It must make life difficult for the richer never mind those you are with. I'm glad you are helping dog but feel that you must feed him/her more to counter the tumours and give him/her a chance. No news of my chicken coop yet but had half a dozen eggs from next door's bantams yesterday- so tiny! Had to give them some jam in return so must make some more soon as stocks now dwindling! Belle still rushing at nothing and defending me bravely, but I watched her pick yet another apple from the tree yesterday so I am not impressed by her antics. speak to you soon.

Love looking at the photos, its amazing how much and such a variety you can fit into one shop. I've been on an exciting shopping trip, went with Cheryl to look for her wedding dress, not a day I ever thought I would see. She was only going to get some ideas but the right one was there so we bought it. All plans falling into place, I know its a year away but I'm such time will fly.
Take care and tay safe. xx

Finally a sunny day.- and Bank holiday too! Heard from Audrey in Philadelphia that the hurricane was somewhat overhyped. They had nothing but a storm and they think it missed NY according to friends there- still- better to be safe than sorry. Exhibition going well with sales happening regularly, so I think the economic situation is not having the detremental effect I had feared- as yet! Bernard and his cows have been moved out, possibly to Jeskyns so will check later. Belle is well and saving me from untold dangers that I cannot even see. As you see, nothing changes.! Hope you are well and still enjoying the adventure. Take care

It makes me think, my groaning about the showers today really is not needed when I read about the conditions you are in at the moment.
Hope you are coping without too much strain, take care and stay safe . xx

Hope you are keeping well. Just heard from Jack in New york unsure at the moment if the planes will be flying if Hurricane Irene strikes so his return may well be delayed.

Rain started here but warm. We are darting about in preparation for the art exhibition and it all seems very busy at the moment, but hopefully will ease off after the private viewing. Bella is snoring as I type and all cats are in. No news yet of the chickens but the coop isn't sent off until next week. Rehearsals for the panto seem to be going well but are twice weekly already, which I hadn't planned on.
Glad that you are still enjoying life but the poverty must be hard to take. I know you'll do what you can

Finally found the skype camera so you lucky person... you should be able to see me next time we speak. Rain has at last stopped and the sun is trying to come out, but taking B out this morning was wet. Have sent off your drivers stuff to DVLA for you but it should be returned to your house in 15 days it says. Whoever is looking after your house should check that everything is O.K. then. Hope all is well with you and speak to you soon

Glad to hear you arrived safely and soon back into the routine, I bet it seems like only yesterday that you were out in Cambodia.
It looks like improvements have been made with the kitchen but old habits die hard with the women still using the floor to prepare the food.
Spent a good weekend in West sussex with friends we met back in 2004 in New Zealand, weather was great so went for long walk down bridle ways probably walked 7-8kms.
Jack finally packed ready for his trip to New York flies on thursday. We have finally booked a break away , fly to Slovakia next tuesday hope to spend a day in Vienna as only 40 miles between the 2 capital cities.
Finished my old job last friday got presented with 3 bouquets of flowers was not expecting that much fuss.
Take care
Jon
Hi
Great to hear you have arrived safely and all seems well. I am pleased to hear that Gracehouse is progressing well and the kitchen is working.
Not so hot as last year? Maybe you just knew what to expect and so it seems cooler? Mind you with a higher river than last year maybe the monsoon has arrived earlier!!
