Greetings from Tinsel Town!!

I made it to LA on Monday and as I flew in I saw the Hollywood sign - I was so excited!! Met my friend Siobhan at the airport ready for our american adventure.

So far we have done the touristy thing with the Kodak Theatre, Chinese Theatre and Hollywood sign, plus we took a celebrity homes tour and saw Britney's, J-Lo's, Leornardo Di Caprio, Jack Nicholsons, George Clooneys and Simon Cowells homes. Its probably all a load of rubbish, but you can't help imagine them there. Plus the houses are huge so they look impressive wether they are owned my famous people or not! We have also taken a trip to Rodeo Drive and had a wander although we didn't actually go into any shops - i don't think they would let us in, and I definitely don't have the money to be able to warrant the Julia Roberts Pretty Woman line - 'big mistake, huge' if I got kicked out!!

President Obama is in town today - wasn't it nice of him to welcome us to the country personally!!!!!

The best thing so far though was the Warner Brothers studio tour which we took today. We firstly went to theWarner Brothers museum and saw the actual clothes worn by actors for films like Heath Ledgers Joker and Keanu Reeves in the Matrix. There was also a Harry Potter exhibition and I got to sit under the sorting hat - unfortunately I'm Slytherin, which for those non Harry Potter fans is the bad one!! There were also costumes from the film including Harry's Quidditch uniform and Hermione's pink dress that she wears to the ball.

As if that wasn't enough excitement we then got taken for a wander round the actual ER set where they had filmed the very last episode ever yesterday. There was also filming going on for 'Without a trace' and 'Cold case' amd we went onto the sound stage for 'the big bang thory'. Finally we were told we were going to be taken onto the set of a TV comedy and when we walked in it was the actual set for Central Perk so of course photos were taken.

After all that excitment we are heading to the beach tomorrow and then Vegas on saturday for even more excitement!! And its only 10 days until I come home!!
