Hi Jen
Who will I blog to when you come home, it's like a part of my normal life now!
Mind you Jon is staying in NZ until July so I have started doing the same with him, although on facebook. He's also having a fab time, I sent your website down to him so that he could review where you have been, just in case he needs any ideas of where to visit, although from what I have heard from your blogs, everywhere in NZ is worth seeing!.
Well you are on your final few days now and still partying, You have made LA sound loads of fun., and I thought it was supposed to be an anti-climax from all the hype given out in the papers!
After readng your blogs each week, I just wish we could have all come with you, just imagine...............the sun.........the sea..............the sand.........the girls partying until dawn..................oh well dream on I suppose!, we would probably all end up arguing after being together for so long!.
Well, I can't believe I ended up with a hangover after Friday's dinner dance, my problem is that I don't think I put enough tonic with the gin that I had stashed in my handbag ! You would think I would have this sussed by now wouldn't you! Ho hum.
I hope you remembered Mothers day yesterday, I had mine staying at ours and of course everyone visited during the day and by the end of it I was absolutley exhausted!
Woohoo the summer netball league starts tomorrow.........so you are coming back just in time. Anyway enjoy your last few days Jen and we look forward to seeing you very soon
Take care

Hi Jen
The good times just keeping happening for you. Sounds like fun. You must be feeling sad your adventures are coming to an end but I expect you're looking forward to seeing family and friends again.
We had the Netball disco last night. Was a lot busier than back in September but nothing any different. All the youngsters had a good time though. Still had that awful DJ but I stayed clear of him, thought it best!
Was supposed to be off to see Lemar tonight but he's ill so has been rescheduled for April. The boys and Virginie are taking me to The Print Room instead to have dinner for Mother's Day.
Tony and I are off tomorrow from Hurn to Tunisia for the week so am now all packed. Tony hasn't started but he takes very little.
Really looking forward to seeing you again and have fun with your friend for the last week.
Take Care.

Jen, it's hard to believe you're on the last bit of your travels, but still some excitement to go in LA etc! It's nice that you have been able to keep in contact with people you have met along the way.
I am now so busy at work and just feeling exhausted all the time. We are off to Cornwall tomorrow for netball and then I have to go to my Mums on Monday morning. My brother is having an operation on his teeth and has to have 2 carers with him, so not really looking forward to that!
We had a lovely night at Pattie's last Tuesday for Daff's birthday. Lots of lovely food and cake as usual and Daff did well for pressies. It's Lou's birthday next but hopefully baby will be arriving soon. We are trying to organise a weekend away at the beginning of September, so we will let you know about that.
Anyway, must get back to work still loads to do today while the sun is shining for once. Take care and enjoy the last few weeks,

Well well well Jen (three holes in the ground!!!) just a litle joke to start me off (tee hee) - Hawaii - you need to visit some of the other islands apparently they are soooo much better but hey whos complaining, sand sea, surfer dudes - by the way the girls were wondering if you had met any nice blokes yet??!! Oh well we will just have to wait till you get back - I'll tell the girls to put their wedding hats away again!
Be careful where you go in Hawaii, you might just end up in the TV show LOST.... I believe that it is filmed on one of the islands over there.
Had my op nearly three weeks ago - on the road to recovery, scar healing nicely, still not allowed to do any weight bearing exercises yet until the ankle is a bit stronger, so lying in bed doing ankle exercises - uhmm not getting the weight off other areas tho , although ankles will be pretty thin!! Back to work 2morrow after 3 wks off - ahhhhhhh not looking forward to it, but at least I still have a job.
Hey Jen you'll have to start thinking about your next break - not sure camping in Swanage, or surfing on Boscombe reef looks quite so appealing - does it?
Enjoy whats left of the trip and don't go buying too many clothes or surf boards!
C U very soon. Love Ju x

Hi Jen
It's always good to hear from you and to catch up on everyone else's news as well!! Too many people talking on a Tuesday to take anything in!
Hopefully when we go off to Tunisia the weather will be reasonable but the maximum temp is about 20 so not overly hot but warmer than here.
You've not really had a bad word to say about anywhere really so far and I'm sure Hawaii will grow on you.
The Team lost to Roman Glass yesterday by one. There shooters played really well but our centre court let us down really. Amy had to play WA as Jo Haynes was playing. She's not a centre! Have told Linda I'm not going to Team Manage next year. I'm just fed up with it generally.
Must cut this short at Tony has cooked dinner and it's on the table.
Keep the blogs coming.
Take care.

Can't spell today, sorry Caroline I called you Caroling, mind you that's quite cute really !!

Hi Jen, my friends who went to Hawaii must have been looking through rose coloured glasses- mind you they were/are in love............ It does funny things to people doesn't it!
Glad you are still having a good time though, make the most of it.....as Lou says it is really cold here at the mo but hopefully warming up over the next couple of weeks - Had a great weekend, but it goes so fast over here - not like your long extensive ...huge, ginormous....massive weekend!!! Yours seems to go on for ever and seems like months !!!
Anyway when you get in the bar tonight you can have a birthday drinkie for me as it's my birthday today ..............I'm almost 22 now!!
Trying to get out in the garden to tidy up and plant my veggies lately, but until the evenings stay lighter longer (at the end of March), I can't seem to find the time yet. Ho hum I will have to carry on with indoor jobs instead.
Caroling found some massive purple puffa jackets the other day, we look ridiculous in them, especially Jane, as all the jackets are medium, and too big for me even so you can imagine what Jane looks like, talk about micheline man!!
Anyway have a lovely finale to your holiday, even if it's not as beautiful as where you have been, but be careful surfing on those 100ft waves!!, I heard they're quite strong !!
Take care Daff xxxx
Louise
Hi Jen, can't believe you are now in Hawaii!! I've heard it is a little built up there, but hey! it's got to be a little better than here. We have some days of nice weather, had SNOW friday and it's still cold at mo......so enjoy the Hawain sunshine and surf, even if there is nothing else exciting there. Glad to hear you've met a nice girl to share room with and sightsee with, makes it more fun I expect.
Still no baby yet...2 weeks to go....can't blimmin wait!! Enjoy your last few weeks of fun!!
Big kisses Lou Lou xxxxx

Hi Jen, all sounds marvelous but I agree with Ann - keep the bugs to yourself. Can't stand anything like that buzzing near me. When I go to our house in France I always get loads of bites and like you, they don't itch too much but look disgusting. I cannot wait for some sunshine on my body - been too long now and looking extemely pale and ill and ugly. Suffering from sad syndrome - I think that's what it's called - anyway sounds apt to me. We have put bungalow on market so been busy painting outside and in to make it more presentable - very lived-in our house, been neglected somewhat but now looking quite prestine. Having a glass of wine - or two - on a Saturday night so may start droning on. Been to lovely Yeovil today as Lois had her theory driving test, been a long day as computers went down and there was a 2 hour back-log. Anyway she passed so one step nearer to not having to drive her all over the country. Off to Gloucester tomorrow with U.16's -have minimum players as some have gone sick on me - now have the smallest G.K. in the world and she has never played there before - oh well - heads up girls and give it your best shot. Have got lovely ciabatta cheese and onion rolls and lemon drizzle cake so that will make me happy. Other Poole teams at Southampton Tournament and Bath so at least we may get some results. Dinner Dance coming up on 20th and looking forward to that - we have about 28 girls coming from club and have won loads so that will make me happy. Anyway, need to get a proper job as Hayley been at school tournament today and saw Linda Dyer and has reported back to me that Linda not sure what it is that keeps me so busy. I think I should have her job - at least she gets paid. Anyway I have gone off enough about a load of crap so you keep enjoying yourself and we are really looking forward to seeing you again soon. Alison x Hopefully I will be able to add up the sum at the end as now had too much wine!
