You'll be coming home for a rest by the sounds of it. So much activity makes me positively tired. That's what happens when you get to 5....!
Netball against Bmth 2 last night ended in a 50-50 draw. Lesley Mac, Amy and Nicola play in that team. We were playing 7 plus the umpire, guess who.. Karen Hills. She was awful beyond belief. We are going to write a letter of complaint.
We do miss you Jen I'm sure with you in the middle we would have won last night, not that I want to give my position up but we do want to continue winning.
I wasn't there for the last Regional game but the guys keep doing really really well and beat Galmington by 44-26. We're 3rd again for now.
The weather here is really cold and frosty one day and then raining the next but it has been a bit more like winter should be cold and sunny for the most part.
Continue having fun and updating us.
Take care Jen

Hiya Jen
I'm back - it was fab to read your blog today, what a tour you are having, amazing memories for your old age when you sit beside the fireside recounting all your travels to your many, many grandchildren in years to come!
Ho strange........ you are leaving Melbourne for NZ and my son Jon is working on a ship in Melbourne and will be coming ashore tomorrow, then in early Feb he is going over to NZ to tour for a few months. Shame you are not in the same place at the same time, you could have met up. Oh well, you may bump into him somewhere else before you get back.
Well, I'm not used to this cold weather I can tell you, whatever happened to global warming I would like to know! The Caribbean was beautifully hot, with the sun shining on a daily basis. We had a fab holiday with New Year's Eve being celebrated by dancing under the stars on the ship, in the pouring rain.......it was such a laugh, we will never forget this one, as we don't normally celebrate very much.
Got home after a delayed flight of 18 hours and had to get into bed fully clothed as it was sooooooo cold! Stay over there for a while longer until it gets back to our normal mild climate!. I'm glad to hear you are getting yourself fit ready for your return to Aquarians, we miss you. After watching the game yesterday, some of the girls are so fit now I've got to get back to the Gym myself to catch up, although I'm not looking forward to playing in the cold tomorrow. Oh well, I am sure it probably won't be as bad as I imagine.
Take care of yourself Jen and write loads about NZ as that is on my list to go to one day soon.
Love Daff xxx

Hi Jen
Watch out NZ she'll be arriving soon!! As Tracy has already mentioned - watching the netball today was brillant, the girls really tried v v hard to win but were betean by the whistle. Grt game to watch, the supporters weren't bad either!!!!!
I went back to the consultant at the hospital re my achilles again on Friday, will have to go back in for another op - the microwave probe again. Fingers crossed this time.
Daff arrived back this morning after 18 hr delay, but I will let her tell you all about it. Netball was cxld last week due to the courts being iced up! Went to Christines & had a fab meal and of course one two many drinks but we are all going to blame it on Hailey, it was one of those nights when you had one, you just had to have another - it was a grt night.
Have loads of fun, laughter and excitment in NZ.....luv Jules xxx

Hiya mate.
Gosh sounds like you have been busy yet again. Things are good here, although struggling tonight after playing today against Hucclecote. 40-40 score, and yes we were all knackered. I have just got out the bath and wont be able to walk in the morning I just know!
Your office have been sending out Air Show stuff, so that means another exciting time on the beach this year, although probably not quite the views that you are experiencing there!
Really sounds fun mate and so pleased you are having a great time. I just wish I had done it when I was younger and I am sure you will never forget it..
Keep safe, and wish you home soon!
Lots of love Txx

Although both Olivia and I have been unwell over the Hols which has been difficult. Promise to send you some pics soon.

Hi Matey
Fantastic pics, another terrific memory to add to the list. Christmas seems but such a long time ago....New Year was a quite one, no parties although went outside at midnight with bottle of champagne, but it was bloody freezing so toasted the NY and went back to the telly!!
Went off to the Next Sale at 5am on the Sat morning but had to go on my own as Daff is currently away on her cruise until the new year. Had a text from her to say she had a ball on NYE and was suffering from drinking too much alcohol.
Happy New Year Jen, have a wonderful time in NZ.
Alison
Hi Jen, all sounds amazing with you, glad you are really enjoying yourself. Had a fab Xmas and New Year, my brother has been over from Holland so it has been extra special. Have also had a very busy house here, what with Lois and all her friends and Joe with his, we never know who we will be waking up with and have makeshift beds all over the place - what a bloody mess but it keeps me young. Had first netball training session tonight with Poole Club so that was a shock to the system and brought me back to reality. Well the party is now over but it has been a good one and probably need to get back to routine to remain sane. Talk again soon as must now go to bed - been on this computer too long and it is now 11.30pm - way past my bedtime x

Happy New Year Jen! Your time away sounds so amazing and the photos look great. It is hard to imagine the warmth you have when it has been freezing every day here. At least you have your family there for the celebrations and fantastic memories to remember.
We spent Christmas with our friends in Lilliput, and have eaten far too much but it was lovely. We visited our mums on Monday and had a big family meal out with aunties, uncles and cousins etc. Back to our friends for New Year at Salterns hotel and drank far too much champagne and didn't go to bed until later on New Year's day. It will be hard to go back to work on Monday and get used to getting up before lunchtime!
Anyway, back to netball on Tuesday 6th Jan so that will get me back into a routine and work will start to get busier after the boatshow.
Enjoy your start to the New Year lots of love Judy xx

Happy New Year to you Jen.
What an amazing Christmas and New Year you've had, made even more special with your Mum and Dad being with you. Queuing what's that all about!! As you say though worth the long wait.
We celebrated Christmas Day with ten for dinner. Virginie's mother, sister and brother were over so they joined us too. Had a really good time but as usual ate too much and dare I say it I didn't drink too much, enough though!
We went for a long walk on 27th to blow the cobwebs away, Tony and I were ambling along and who should coming jogging past us (well she stopped and had a chat) was Jude. She's so fit and puts the rest of us to shame. Still I was like that when I was her age!!!!
New Year we spent with Jane and Ricky and we went out to see Haywire play at the Talbot Rise Club, very interesting! We had a really good evening.
It's all over now apart from taking the decorations down.
Keep the updates coming Jen and the pictures (they make us even more jealous).
Lots of love

Merry Christmas Jen
Woohoo!! Christmas is nearly here, we are all getting very excited here, and it would be just perfect if we could have some snow to complete the picture, somehow I don't think it's going to happen this year!
Glad to hear you've teamed up with your Mum and Dad again, at least it will feel a bit like home with family around you. In Brunei I used to put the air conditioning up really cold and shut the curtains so that it felt a little like Christmas, but in Perth we just did it the Aussie way and had Christmas dinner on the beach so relax and enjoy.
I hope Santa doesn't get too confused with where you are and that he manages to bring everything you wish for........
We had a lovely time in the house again. It was lovely and warm and cosy and this time we ordered all the food from Marks & Spencer and Waitrose and sat round a huge table all together, chattering nineteen to the dozen then went dancing in the club house, it was really lovely but oh my god did I have a hangover the next day. I think I must have drunk everyone elses drinks as they all seemed fine. Will I ever learn? well I'm beginning to think that as I haven't so far then I probably never will. Mind you Ali must have had a few as she managed to get herself trapped in a drain!!!
It was lovely to hear from you in the house, it made it seem as if you were not that far away.
Right got to get off now and finish my Christmas shopping - not that I have much left to do thank goodness. Then it's off on my cruise Waaahaaay!
Anyway, have a fantastic Christmas followed by a Very Happy and hopefully Prosperous New Year
