Big hello from melbourne! SInce last entry - spent a couple of days at Glenelg on the beach which was bliss - in temp of 42 degrees i need access to water! managed to catch up with never-met relatives too which was great.

Then, 11 hour overngith bus to melbourne - took me back to S America times! Left adelaide in the heat and within an hour was freezing with the air con so not a fun journey... arrived here at 6am and managed to catch the tram to the hostel. Staying in an old nunnery! Melbourne is lovely - got a relly good buzz to it. Today had a bit of culture and went to Melbourne Museum - surprisingly good and kept me entertained for a couple of hours - Phar LAp is there (v famous race horse...)

Highlight so far has been meeting up with James (travelled with him and Eva in Peru and Bolivia) - met up for a catch up drink last night and heading to a local pub tonight. Friends do make such a difference..... PLan for tomorrow is to head to the Bitanic Gardens and the MCG - then on Friday am heading up the Great Ocean Road forthe weekend before return here and then off to perth on tuesday - where i catch up with Eva
