Sorry - been a bit slack with this so big catch up time! From Maryborough headed up east coast and as i travelled it got more and more humid... Managed to dive at Ongala Wreck (missing my buddy Fran!), 3 days sailing at WHitsundays, and then onto Cairns where spent a few days. anaged day trip to Cape Tribulation and fantastic day tour with Uncle Brian...
From there flew to ALcie Springs - beautiful flight over incredible scenery. A couple of daysthere chilling by the pool, even hotter but more manageable dry heat. And then on towards Adelaide on an 8 day tour...
Absolutely fantastic... visited some amazing places. Highlights included 3 hour rim walk at Kings CAnyon, Uluru (even when seen so many pictures still amazing when see it in real life), KAta Tjuta and VAlley of the Wind walk plus Wilpena Pound. Involved extremely early starts to avoid heat of the day - 4.30 waking up not unusual. And sleeping under the stars in swags - simply beautiful....
Arrived in Adelaide very dusty and with a pile of washing to get done but had a great trip... the scenery was incredible - at one point stayed in William Creek which has population between 2 and 6 plus 1 million flies... managed to hole up in the pub for a few hours to avoid the flies!
So, couple of days here to plan - heading to Glenelg Beach for couple of nights and then possibly to Kangaroo Island before making my way down to Melbourne.... Just about up to date then - love to all xx
