TOTALLY CHILLED NOW
DAY 68: Koh Tao
Today was, as I'm sure the rest of our days here in Koh Tao will be, very similar to what we've done already; sit on the beach reading, soaking up the sun and doing a bit of snorkelling. And maybe a snooze.
I made a good dent in the last part of my second book today, which is gracefully titled 'No sh!tting in the toilet' - a humorous alternative travel guide based on the author, Peter Moore's being-stuck-in-absurd-situations-whilst-travelling-and-still-end-up-loving-it experiences. I have to bend the front cover back when reading so as to not offend anyone.
We did venture into town this morning to exchange Jen's third Harry Potter book, which she read in just 24 hours, for the fourth one in the series. We also took advantage of a coffee shop's free WiFi to update our relevant postings whilst having a much needed ice cold beverage.
Whilst here I decided to use the lav in the coffee shop and immediately regretted it as some guy, not intent with the first attempt at trying to open the door and failing, barged in and saw me in full view on the porcelain throne. Nice. That's the trouble with those push-button locks, you never know if they're actually locked or not. At least Andrea Boccelli wasn't playing this time.
After doing our business in town (literally and metaphorically) we hit the beach until mid-afternoon when we retired to our room to freshen up, relax and ponder over what we might have for dinner.
