Reached our last destination of the trip this afternoon, after a 4.30am start and 2 flights. We've made up a light programme for our 5 days here: 2 full days, two extended half days and some time in the hands of the masseur! We're going to use the local Kuoni guide for all our trips and we have a car/driver so we can do our own thing. After nearly 6 weeks of travelling, we're a bit shattered so we're being good to ourselves!
Before we left Jaipur, we visited a textile place and went mad. I love sari material, pashminas, Indian cotton etc and Craig got his eye on some nice shirts...so we have bought some lovely things - some for us and some for family and friends. We had to talk our way out of excess baggage charges this morning for the Jaipur-Delhi-Kathmandu flights...but Craig handled it - of course!
Only 6 days of our trip left.....see youz all soon!
PS If you're wondering why Craig isn't posting tonight: he's in his room singig and playing his guitar - I could hear him right down the corridor. Just hope the neighbours like accoustic guitar!

Jean Nisbet Just back from a tour of Dharbhar Square UNESCO World Heritage site and the central market. Fabulous. We have enjoyed not being stared at: in rural Rajasthan in India, people are not used to seeing white faces, but Kathmandu people are much more relaxed. Tomorrow off to see Everest from the 4,300m viewpoint. Then a day 'at leisure' and back to Delhi and home to sort out the photos and try to remember where we took them! It's great people have been following our blog!
