Our first stop today was Bofors Hotel in Karlskoga where Hannah's mom works to say hi. Then we drove to Karlstad (an hour west of Karlskoga) to see Hannah's high school, stopping along the way to have ice cream at a little town on Värnen, Sweden's biggest lake. Her high school is a private school with around 300 students that focuses on farming and animal sciences. She gave us a tour around the campus which included barns filled with cows and horses and sheep in pastures. Quite different from an American high school! Their senior prom was tonight so there were students walking around in dresses and tuxes. We met some of Hannah's friends and teachers and had coffee in the school cafeteria. Then Hannah went to hang out with some of her friends so my mom, David and I drove back to Karlskoga. We hung out for a bit and then Hannah returned with her friend and we all watched a movie together. We stayed up after just talking and the girls told me all about their time at school together (and how their school is haunted!) and it wasn't till 3 when we finally called it a night.
