Cricky mate's....
How's everyone going....
The last 10 day's have been compacked and full of action from 4x4ing on frasier island to sailing the whitsunday's. We started by hiring a ute a 4x4 to me and u and set off for are 3 day 2 night adventure. Frasier is just off the coat of rainbow beach from where u take a barge across to the island. Frasier is well know for the hard going soft sands and never ending tracks of fun (a big boy's play ground). This is the first place we encounted ozzy wildlife snake's,dingos, loads of jellyfish and sharks that circle the island not to mention the huge spider's that nat found in the showers they were about the size of your hand!!! lets just say after 3 days she wasn't smelling to good.....
Whitsunday's
As soon as we got back to kelly's we had a few hours to recover before we were back on the road for our 12 hour drive up to Airlie. Our first night's accomodation was probably the worst we've stayed in since being away, so dirty and they crammed 10 of us into a small room, but we ignored this and went out for a Mexican and a few cocktails. Next day we got picked up by our coach and met the other 30 people we were gonna spend the next 3 days with on a Piarate boat, its was really cool the staff were a right laugh and the first night was cool getting to know everyone. The whole 3 days and nights were so much fun we went snorkling over the reef Jay and Craig went for a dive, used the swing rope off the boat, had great food and played loads of cards and stupid drinking games which Jay somehow managed to win. (Got some got photos of that). The night we got off the boat we all meet up in a bar in town and got free jugs of beer, went round all the bars in town and ended up in a brilliant club with everyone hammed. The next morning wasn't good especially as we had the 12 hour drive back ahead of us, well it would of been 12 hours if Jay hadn't of got himself de-hydrated and ended up in hospital on a drip and heart monitor, where we spent 3 hours waiting for him to get some sort of fluids back into him, and just to point out this was 3 o clock in the morning. But everyone got back safe and sound in the end and Jays now promised to drink more water and less booze (Like Hell). We went to Stevie Irwin's Zoo yesterday was a good laugh walking round in the rain with our plastic ponchos on, did all the usual tourist stuff, seen the croc show, fed the roo's and held a koala.
