A week long festival of the sea has been held at Brest, finishing today. The end of the festival was a parade of boats leaving today as we set of from Camaret. A thousand boats ranging from Viking long boats to round the world racing trimarans. They were all coming out on starboard tack as we were on port having to give way to them all. We have discovered the French tend to only move at the very last minute if at all which can be very disconcerting. We found our way through them all and made our way to the Chenal de four and the start of our route to Falmouth.
