Today was extremely frustrating, we arrived at 9252-34 ave to get our India Visa's. We found out that we had filled out the wrong form, had the wrong size photo's (that had cost 40.00 from Walmart), and that my passport was too close to expiring to qualify. Apparently you need have 190 days + before expiry to go. The new form also demanded that we have a letter from our Canadian Doctor that they recommend the procedure, well that would never happen because the Canadian physicians are against these kinds of procedures. The next thing the lady said was that she required three months of my bank statements to prove I could pay for the medical procedures (can you say "get bent"?).
The outcome was we left, called Sr. Broeska and Lisa who report they have the direct ear of the Indian Consult and he will email them.
Next we headed to Canada Place to renew my passport, it went exceptionally well and after only 2+hours my application, new picture etc were complete
