hi everyone!
so on Sunday, our last day in Sydney, we went to a travel agent called 'Wicked Travel' and ra really cool girl from Sweeden who worked there helped us organise our whole trip up the East Coast! We decided the best way to do it was with a coach company called Greyhound, we got a really good deal and we also booked our Fraser Island and Whitsundays excursions with her!
We preperared to leave very early the next day!!
It was a very early start before a 10 hour bus journey up to Coffs Harbour where we arrived at just gone 5pm, the Greyhound coach was okay although I felt a bit sick, and banged my head, Adam slept in a funny position with his bum in the air, I have added photos! :)
Then we arrived in Coffs! We got of the bus and were immediatley swarmed with bloody hostal people in our faces and in the end we settled for one callled....... ermmm Hoey Moey (I think) could be holey moley, not sure. Anyway the bus driver/boy brought us up here, he was a bit cringey and not very funny at all, he took us to watch the sunset but the sun had already set.. bit odd!
We found the shopping plaza, had some dinner and decided to get an early night because we'd been up late before and woken up so early we were soooooo tired! We also had a norwegian in our room, in the bed next to me, and what a beautiful norwegian he was, so I decided the more time I spent in bed, the more time we got to chat! which we did haha :) Adam rolled his eyes haha. Then I fell asleeep!
We got up early! Not only is it sunny here, its bloody boiling! which is a very delightful thing and makes us smile! We went to the botanic gardens where the cringey bus guy told me I WOULD see Koalas... I didnt. :( but it was real pretty anyway! - Callum there was a swamp! it made me think of Shrek haha :)
On the way back we found a fallen down tree over the lake and we both climbed it! Strangely enough I really enjoyed climbing the tree haha.
we came back to hostal then got changed into swim stuff and went to the beach! It is beautttiful :) such a nice beach! We put our stuff of, I got straight in my bikini and ran into the sea! Adam thought it was too cold so paddled his feet! ;) It wasnt cold, it was lovely! :) haha.
We then walked to another beach called Jetty Beach which funnily has a huge jetty on it where you walk up to the end of the beach to a lookout point. We got some chips and were quite happily eating them until literally a S W A R M of seagulls came and tried to attack me, I was running around - with my chips in hand which is not a wise idea - and squeeling so much to try and get away from them that I actually made an old man cry with laughter, I was not laughing!
We moved on after I refused to sit there anymore up to the end of the jetty to a lookout point, it was bird free so I was much happier! I chilled at the lookout point whilst Adam went and explored on the rocks, we headed back and Adam took a replica photo of him diving into the sea of rocks which he took a few years back when he was with his Grandma, so hopefully he will upload that for you too see soon! :)
Tonight, well in an hour, we are getting a lift back to the busstop and catching our Greyhound coach up to Byron Bay where we are going to spend 2 days there. :)
lots of love back up to
