We arrived in Byron and decided we would spend two days there!

We booked into Main Beach Backpackers which was a nice hostal super close to the beach! For the first night we went straight to bed after another long coach journey, the guy in the bed next to me was up ALL night watching Asian porn and on chat websites which was a littttle bit distracting when your trying to sleep! but it was funny nonetheless. Adam had front row seats!

The next day we booked to go turtle snorkelling for the next day so had a chillled out day roaming around the hostal and met Grant, Veronica and Sonia, commonly known as Grant, Sweeden and France :) We decided that night we would all go out so we grabbed some dinnner and drinkkk and got on it, first we went to a club calllled, Cocomongas it was pretty quiet at first then got busy, Sonia managed to get us free drinkkkkks which was a good thing but also a bad thing haha! We then went to Woodys.. drunk and danced more... then we left and stumbled home..into the hostal swimming pool at 2am even though it closes at 10pm (strictly) we jumped the gate, Adam stripped of and jumped in! Veronica and Sonia did too but it was tooooooooo cold for me! So we decided the sea would be warmer and it was a REALLY good idea to go to the beach, get in our underwear and go into the sea... it was a good idea at the time but now I have NO voice at all and a cold coming on! It was great fun and we had a really good night....unfortunatley we forget we had to wake up at 7 to go snorkelling.

We got up at 7 to find out that our bloody snorkelling couldnt go ahead because the sea was so rough... considering I had been in the sea about 2 hours before I didnt belive them but would rather not of died so I didnt question it, it rained ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL day so we didnt do much, I went shopping with Sweeden and then we had to catch our bus to Surfers. It was sad to say bye cause we had real great fun with them but we may encounter again! :)

We arrived in surfers after a two hour bus journey expecting to find hostal tauts outside to take us to a hostal..there werent any.. we deicded we would walk around to find one, we met two girls, Crystal and Lauren who were super funny and have been here for 7 months working..we walked around thinking we would find a hostal... we didnt... but we did find a trolley! so we put all of our rucksacks, handbags and holdalls into this tiny little shopping trolley and between the four of us roamed around looking for a hostal! It was hilarious... after over an hour of searching we STILL couldnt find one! but we did find a mcdonalds... so we parked our trolley up and chilled at mcdonalds haha. After asking 100000000 people for directions and being pointed in 100000000 different dirrections we found one! no idea what it was called, it was 23 dollars for a TWENTY bed dorm which none of us had stayed in one so big.. by this point bored of the trolley we booked in and went up to our room which was basically prison hah, it looked exactly like you'd imagine prison to and it wasnt much cleaner either! We had no pillows.. well we did but they were yellow and all ripped up so we thought we'd give them a miss! We have moved hostals today to a popular one called Surf n Sun... or Sun n Surf... and we are gunna try book snorkelling again as we have two days here :)
