so today is the first day here in el puerto without abril. the whole school is asking if i have heard from her yet and all i can do is say no, tell them of her complicated departure story, and hope to hear of her great adventures very soon. The other night we went out to dinner with mostly the staff here at the school. we have grown attached to them here and they epecially to april. so to celebrate her time here and her graduation, they took us all to dinner. it was a blast and we (as always) laughed until someone cried, we all were in pain, and april almost lost her dinner... it was seriously that much fun! april got her certificate of completion with the level she was hoping for and many extra "official" stamps on the envelope from cristina they are quite the pair. then april was off to pari (which april quickly found out is not to be said in the manner of the french while speaking spanish as it sounds quite close to the verb parir which means to give birth... which she definitely told ian and cristina she was going to do on the 7th of march today the day she was going to paris) anyway this is the begining of new adventures for the two of us... separate adventures. i will be moving into a diff. room in the apartment and she will be off in the wide, appealing world of europe. please give her your prayers and all the time and encouragement you have it's going to be a bit frightening i think but an amazing experience none-the-less. look for pictures of our night out and of gibraltar and carnival in the days to come.
