Joanna and Wedgwood 2009
W: Back from an overnight cruise along Doubtful Sound, it was a bit of a treck to get there but well worth the two coach journeys and a ferry across another lake! We saw a huge pod of very playful dolphins and penguins which seemed to be as popular as the impressive scenery. We met a nice American couple who are over to do some fly fishing, apparently this part of NZ has one of the best rivers in the world for that. I think we have managed to avoid the notorious biting Sand fly. Just realised that I took over 150 photos on the trip so I'll spend the next few hours trying to find the best few to upload to go witht e ones Joanna has already put on the site. Tomorrow we are driving up to Franz Joseph glacier.
