When we hit the outskirts of Vegas, a buzzy feeling starts building up inside. You can see the hotels a few miles off.

We drop Barbara off at check-in and Paul and I go on a hunt around the car park for State plates for the chinaman.

As you get out the hot air hits you hard. It's so hot and it stays that way all night. 90+ degree heat, we sure are in the desert!
