Jackirmic adventures
Afternoon in Yakatat Bay and perfect conditions to see Hubbard Glacier. Ship was able to get the closest it has been for a long time. The cracking of the ice was eerie. The blueness is the newest part of the Glacier. The Glacier is 6 miles wide. Kirsten has taken over 200 photos of the Glacier and the otters we saw. Will have to spend tonight downloading all photos and clearing cards ready for tomorrow's cruising around Glacier Bay. Lucky we have enough back up batteries for all of our cameras!
Formal night on board tonight and steward has delivered Kirsten and I corsages of roses and baby breath.
