Early start since we needed to take the Bucky (what S.A call a pickup) to the garage for a service so it's ready for owners tomorrow.
On the way back we stopped at the supermarket. It's a bizarre thought if your reading this from the Uk, but after being in 3rd world countries for 2 1/2 months a supermarket seems the best thing ever! Especially the one we were in, selling unnecessary products like cookies and milk that gies off after a week!! Amazing! I brought both, as well as some fresh mango juice which is considerably cheaper than anywhere else we've been since they make it close by. I was like a kid in a sweet shop.
When we returned Hannah showed me to our accommodation since the owners were coming back, tonight we were sleeping at the "south pole". Its just a plain building in the middle of a horse field. Basic but has nice bathroom and bedroom. However, today the horses have broken the ropes stopping them from getting onto the porch that runs the length in front of the bungalow. As a result they have managed to get into the kitchen and rip open everything, 3 grown horses managed to fit inside and destroy most things they could. Hannah has a great photo. A large clean up was in order before any cooking was to be done here!
After a nice pasta lunch and a mug of tea (I will drink from a mug if I have the choice, more is better, especially after having had no tea in so long.)we headed to the house and had a relaxing evening watching a film and catching up on world news.
To the South Pole!!
