Jo,berg bus station is partnered with the train station, and because it must see such large amounts if visitors was pretty clean, safe and spacious.
After waiting for the greyhound terminal to open at 530 to book ticket to Richards Bay a girl sat next to me from Shropshire!! She was working at some sort of summer camp for rich SA kids all over the country. Was good to meet someone in the station since I was the only White in the while station and at 4am bit many people want to talk.
Double decker bus with complimentary coffee, big seats and even televisions! We were due to arrive at 1815, we left on time, I was hopeful.
Looking forward to seeing Hannah, although has to be said i was slightly nervous....
My phone battery started to die so I sent Hannah a few update texts now and then, although I was getting mire an more concerned since we were running at least an hour late and not taking the obvious route. Would Hannah be waiting for another few hours if my battery died? Would she find this place, at night it seemed to be pretty ugly with lights everywhere, building work and such like...
She was waiting with a big smile on her face next to her Landrover (White 110). Couldn't ask for more.
We then walked into the mcdonalds next door, and I binged on a big mac, the fast food I have been craving for the last two months! I even ignored the pain if my now blistered bottom lip from getting sunburn in Tofo.
She had become very South African with her statements and work relationships, even picked up a slight tinge, although more Australian than SA.
We stayed in the owners bedroom since they were on hols in OZ until Monday night, which was great. Huge bed, bathroom and amazing shower!
