Hola!
We're still in Sucre, we've just fininshed our second week of 'school'. All going well...learning lot..just hope we can retain all this information..regular verbs, irregular verbs, reflexive verbs...conjugate the verbs!!! By the end of the day our brains are useless!! There has been loads of dramas here in Sucre..they have been protesting here since we arrived. At first it was peaceful but now it has turned violent..they've brought in the riot police to control the small group of rebels!! As a consequence most things have shut down...shops, schools transport..not everyday but randomly at any time!! So anyway, we were supposed to do our volunteer work next week but due to the troubles they have shut down!! I especially am really disappointed, have been looking forward to it for a long time!! We have one other option at another 'school' but it's for a minimum of 4months...which means we'd never make it home!! So, we've decided to stay here another week and continue with our spanish in the mornings and do community based activities/work, with our teacher in the afternoons.
The picture above is a little trip we went on to Paleontology park filled with life sized dinosaurs...very cool, great school trip...the kids would love it...we did anyway!! Wonder if Ross knows about this place!!!!! Did another Inca trail last weekend..much smaller scale that the one in Peru. Stunning scenery and it was only us doing it...so good to get away from the crowds!!
Hope all is well
