Sadly, we leave Nepal today. We have had the best ime ever over here! This trip is definately up there with one of the best we've done (yeah I know we probably say that everytime!) Such a beautiful country and fantastic people..most of whom have nothing compared to us materialistic westerners!! Already planning our next trip…

Well for those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter to our travels..good news...we're on the move again!!
We've been back in good old kiwi land since January and it's been great catching up with family and friends and generally enjoying the great outdoors of New Zealand..there really is no place like home!!
However...we're still not quite ready to join the mortgage/kids epidemic that seems to be swamping the country!! Before the plague finally c…

However...we're still not quite ready to join the mortgage/kids epidemic that seems to be swamping the country!! Before the plague finally catches us we've decided to do a trekking trip through Nepal. It has been a dream for awhile now and it's really exciting that it's soon to be a reality!
We will be away for 8 weeks, spending the majority of the time in Nepal..trekking and hopefully some voluntary work. We will 'pop'over to India for around 10days to visit the 'must see'Taj Mahal. Then spend around 5 days in Hong Kong for some shopping and R & R before heading home.
Will keep you posted along the way..make sure you fill us on the latest around the world!

Oh my goodness guys all I can say is wow and the pics are amazing. Am still very jelous and so wish i was there. Keep well, everytime I hear someting about India on the news my heart skips. All good here. Am driving the arab way as have a job so its all working out wickedly.

Hey Guys, congrats on the trekking, you must be on cloud nine. I can't wait to see all your pictures and hear about all your wonderful adventures. The rural parts of nepal are just breathe taking and unbelievable considereing what the town and cities look like. It is truley a beautiful country. Hey you two :) looks like you two are having the time of your lives. I think you swam with the same elephant we did. It was cool fun ah? the buses are a nightmere and the roads are a real eye opener. ive only just pulled myself together after another loss to you fellas in the rugby .final score incase you havent got it yet was 28 to 24.tried ringing you mountain goats after the game but your phone must have been sold to a sherpa or something cause i couldnt hear anything.looks like u2 are having a ball as always.hope your handling the altitude ok and not getting smashed every night on 1 beer.

OMG your blog is as long as your bus ride!
Thought you two took of months ago ... Got that wrong. Very jealous of your travels and especially that you will get to see the Taj before I do! Had an awesome time in the Western Balkans - tad over Albanian music but Sail Croatia rocked. We had a great bunch on the boat and will be meeting up with our new friends this coming weekend and week. I was told that if you drink gin every day it will save you from Dehli Belly ... any pooh stories yet?
