Wow, here I am again. The 30h flight was a bit too much. Next time I'll stop over somewhere for a week or two. I timed my sleeping rather well though, because I had jet lag for only a day or so. Woke up at 3.30 am thinking its morning etc..
The first day was beautiful. We went to the beach and had a little surf with Adam, Scott's friend. It was mostly just paddling around, because the surf was almost non existent. In the evening we had dinner with Scott's friends at a brazilian restaurant. They literally just brought out the meat at an incredible speed. We had some veggies, but the waitresses brought small portions of different meats for everybody to try. And for desert we had some yummy aussie ice cream for desert. I was so full after that I felt like I wouldn't need to eat for days!
The next couple of days we had bad weather. Well, mostly cloudy and a little cold = +20. We went out on Lee's speedboat around Lilli Pilli area (haha, yes that's a suburb that has my nickname) and we had a blast. That was the first time for me on a speedboat I reckon. It went really fast!
Other than that we've mostly been swimming and watching movies (because of the bad weather). Scott has cooked us awesome dinners too.
New Years eve was definitely a good one. I hoped to go down to the city center to watch the fireworks, but we decided that there's going to be too many people around, plus it was all an alcohol free zone. We wouldnt have been allowed to even have champagne! So we stayed in Cronulla. Early evening we spent at Glen's on the sixth floor overlooking the beach and sea. I was beat mixing (practicing my DJ skills) for about two hours. I loved it ! Then we went to Heidi's friends and played some drinking games = mistake. I got pretty drunk having to drink so much after having a long break from drinking any alcohol. I wanted to go to the beach when the new year came so we ran over there with Scott. Just when we were supposed to have a countdown we got to the beach. It was a beautiful night and I just loved to sit there watching the waves and the fireworks in the distance while drinking my champagne.
Today we're having a day trip down the coast and hopefully wednesday morning I'll be in Byron Bay! Take care.
