Today we ate a huge breakfast at the nordschleife hotel consisting of cereal, cheese, meat, bread and fruit. We checked out and drove back to the ring and had a look at some cars doing laps on the closed track.

We then parked the hire car outside the dorint hotel and found the secret roof viewing area that ken had told us about. We had a good view of the f1 track along the main straight.

Next door was a shopping area with lots of merchandise and after a quick look around we went wandering and found the entrance to the inside of the track. There was a motorcycle club track day and we were able to look at all the bikes in the pit area.

We had subway for lunch, bought some ring gear and headed back to town to check into our new hotel. Leaving again, we returned to the ring and settled in at the brunchenn corner for some viewing of the public track time. Heaps of cool cars went past and we took a million photos.

Back to the hotel, out for another schnitzel and then home for top gear polar special.
