After only three days in Vegas, I feel like I've been here a week. Not in a "I have been bored time has gone by so slowly way" but in the fact I've done SO much it feels like it should have taken me a week to do it.
The night I arrived ended with a lot of drink. And as I am only 19, that's fairly impressive. Because you can drink alcohol on the streets and bring outside drinks into the casinos, you just need to get hold of some four loko (lethal) from 7 eleven. Most of the casinos don't ask for ID at the machines so it means you can gamble too. So I have achieved illegal gambling and drinking in Las Vegas. Win.
Another major event of my trip here in Vegas was seeing the Grand Canyon. My parents were determined for me to see it from a helicopter so I took the plunge and booked it, despite the cost. The day before my tour however I was called up and told there was an issue with the flight and that I'd been upgraded! So in the end, free of charge, I had a champange picnic in the only and lowest place you can stop within the depths of the Grand Canyon! Money well spent.
Something I felt as soon as I arrived in Vegas was anthing could happen, and I seem to have lived up to that as one of the guys who works at the hostel has a collection of old hotel keys so that you can use their pools. So yesturday we snuck into Ceasars Palace and my god was it good! Caught some rays and had a cool dip in the pools. What more could you want?
I have now decided one day I will return to Vegas, but legally and also with A LOT of money, as the other day I put $1 into a slot machine and doubled my money so I feel good things could happen if I one day make my return!
