Back in sunny B.A! After arriving back from Cordoba we spent the day chilling in the sun on the roof terrace, good company, good tunes(from henry and jamies speakers!), cold beer. Perfect. Tuesday...sat in the Alamo sports bar(i arrived before it opened so had to just chill with the manager) and watched Scotland do their classic sports routine, build you're hopes and then shatter them at the end...standard. Thursday followed the standard thursday pattern: go to Sugar and abuse the free drinks that the girls get, though this time we were dangerously close to getting chucked out for it. Met a fellow Scot that night as well...he was a fat Glaswegian idiot though. And of course the night finished with late night early morning pizza. Friday was pretty fun, after cooking up some top class steaks with Henry we all headed to a bar on Plaza Serrano...where Lucie and Emily decided to take it in turns to spill beer on Josh. Then, via the guy on a bike selling doughnuts, we headed to Kika which was a good decision! Saturday, went to Sam's house party then onward to the all night Bomba Del Tiempo(a weird drum/percussion/party thing) which was very funny, though the entire house was slightly worse for wear! The low point being waiting ages for a cab in the cold, though when we finally got one it was playing Oasis so I was a happy, happy man. After recuperating for a while at home Alice and I decided to venture out to get empanadas, as always a good call. Sunday was pretty chilled, Indian food and card games! Work has been pretty good but nothing special, the novelty of my presence seems to be wearing off a little! Me, Henry, Jamie, Amy, Lena, Lauren, Shonie and Leya are heading to Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian border at the weekend which will be sweet, looks like a really cool place, the hostel has a pool and a bbq and we can do a moonlit tour of the falls on friday under the full moon...classic argentina.
