Hiya folks.
Am in Buenos Aires (arrived 03/03/07) and can`t leave this place. Have found such a homely hostel that has just been open since november and fcuk me this place is good.
Have been having food portions that make Americas look small, Asha has been feasting on some big ass cows!!!
It great being in Argentina after a month in Brazil everything is so much cheaper.
Started some spanish classes last week and it`s proper hard.
They got all this formal/informal, masculine/feminine, past/present, and more sheet I can`t remember going on. It sounds nice but I think the sign language I have developed is gonna be used for a little while longer.
We have met up with some friends (Andres & Paula) that we met on the Inca Trail and it has been great to see the city with some locals, we been going out for great food, great parties all with great company.
For Asha`s birthday the other day we had a bbq with some friends from Rio, Andres, Paula, Hitesh and some friends from the hostel and we even cooked some chicken curry (argh the taste of home). Then onto some house club (man house music is big in Buenos Aires) until 6am. All was great until we step out the cab outside the hostel then the 10 bottles of wine, sambucas and champagne catch up with asha and the tree gets doused in vomit for half an hour.
After this we have been recovering for a couple of days and now only 3 days before we leave.
Will be sad to leave this place and will have to return that`s for sure, but before we go we have been invited to the weekend residence in the country of Andres & Paula for a spot of lunch so should be fun, mixing with the elite of Buenos Aires trying to understand golf, tennis and polo...
