Hello from Koh Phangan. It's actually our last day here and we were due to get a taxi but, not suprisingly, it didn't turn up. A lot of the organised trips and taxi services here aren't the most organised or reliable! We're now leaving for Koh Tao at 12:00 today instead, hopefully...

Koh Phangan has been eventful, a serious bout of food poisoning and diarrhoea (nice!) for Mr Howes - thankfully now under control with antibiotics, the Full Moon Party which was bonkers and full of crazy loons dancing til they dropped (we made it until 6:30 the next morning and watched the sun rise - quality), a visit to the Mellow Mountain Bar for some 'interesting' shakes, and yesterday we went to the Amsterdam Bar whci I don't think I need say anymore! The journey back was particularly eventful (the place was about a 20 min scooter ride back to our resort). We'd got 3 scooter taxi's there (we went with an English lad we met called Dean - good bloke) and arranged with the guys to pick us up from Amsterdam Bar 3 hours later. Unfortunately only 2 scooters turned up to pick us up so me and Butts had to share a scooter with the taxi lad on the way back! This wasn't ideal conscious of the state of Koh Phagnan's roads! It was a bit hairy in places but thankfully we remain unscathed to tell the tale. There was one point going up a hill where we almost came to a standstill but thankfully taxi ken just about kept us moving with some desperate pedalling!

It's really quiet here now as all party loons tend to leave straight after the Full Moon Party. Think we're leaving at the right time and looking forward to our 5 day diving course in Koh Tao.

PS - Fingers crossed for 3 points against Bristol City this afternoon... then again, I think there's more chance of our taxi turning up this afternoon
