Day 2 in Rome and today we decided to tackle the beastly task of walking around the roman forum/ colloseum area. To say I didn't think the roman forum was so big was an understatement. Today got off to a slow start. We got up and waited around the apartment for our temp landlord to show up, then came the adventure. Our landlord pointed us in the direction of a supermarket but judging by how quickly we get lost it was never going to be that straightforward. First day!!! So we have finally touched down in Rome and after much difficulty trying to find the apartment we eventually got there, tackling not only the metro system but the confusing street system too!
