So, here we are in Chaing Mai, a city in the north of Thailand. It's a lot cooler up here (I say cooler, I really mean 35 c!) and a lot nicer. We experienced the night train, all a bit worried how skanky it was going to be, but we had so much fun! The highlight has to be the disco carriage, was so funny; we all had to sit in out seats and were forced to drink beers. But luckily we were the DJ's for the night so filled the Thai train with the beats of the baywatch theme tune and christina aguilera! Good times! The next morning we went for our Elephant ride, a highlight of the trip for us all so far. We then went for a "relaxing' bamboo raft ride down this beautiful stream, but we're terrorised by the punter men who kept splashing us and tipping us in! I (Sarah) had the fright of my life when this massive frog jumped up at me and refused to jump back in the water, scary stuff! Luckily no spiders or snakes yet (touch wood). Tomorrow we leave for the trek, god help us all! Keep in touch and we have lots of new piccys up, so check um out!
