Hi guys,
My Canadian Road Trip has finally ended and I am going to miss everyone loads, Pav thank you for the card it was a really nice thought and I will keep in touch, good luck with the job and house hunting am sure you will do great, and dont worry about my stick!
Well, I have arrived in Seattle, which is a really nice city and I am gutted to be only spending one night here, just walking around the markets and the town there is a really nice homely/friendly feel to the place and it is very bohemium! Although disaster struck when I got to the hostel and found that I had no reservation! Admittedly it was my fault - yes I will own up to it! I had booked it for the 20th May instead of 20th June - although I didnt let the hostel know, and let them think it was their mistake so I could get a bed! Sneaky yes but I needed a bed and I panicked. I had to wait to see if there was a cancellation but in the end they gave me one that had been booked for someone else......I also had another mental blip with my itinery as I checked my flight to San Fransisco and that was also for May!! Dop!! So have had to change that as well!! Fingers crossed I dont have anythinging else happen!!
Before I arrived in Seattle, the group had been to a place called Clear Water in British Columbia in which we got to stay in a wooden hut that had camp beds and we went horse riding into the forest. This was really good, my horse was called Cody (it reminded me of Pete! Hee Hee! As it kept on stopping to eat and was very naughty causing all the other horses to gallop every time he did! Plus take me the wrong way!). We trotted through the forest to a waterfall and then back to camp.
From here we went to Vancouver in which we spent two nights in the Sunshine Hostel, we had a little wander around then went for dinner at a Singapore restaurant in which the owner supported Liverpool and gave us free cups! The food was lovely. We had a free day yesterday in which we went to Grenville Island to the port and wharf area, which has a really nice market, then we braved the public transport and headed out of town to a shopping centre (aparently the second biggest in Canada), then headed back to the city to eat at the old spagetti factory, in which you only have to pay for you main and you get a started and desert plus drink for free.
Tomorrow I head to San Fransisco (fingers crossed) for a couple of days before I start my last trek tour of the west coast of Tuesday. I have just booked to go to Alcatraz so looking forward to that.
Speak to you all soon.
Love Me!
PS. Pete thanks for being you and knowing what to say when I was upset, sorry for waking you up! Love ya x
