Hellooo!Well today we arrived in chicagy,the windy city!we had an overnight train (which i barely slept on, nearly had a hissy fit,sure il sleep well tonight!) and got to our rather posh hostel where the man upgraded us for free to a room with a bathroom which is really good. We then ventured out after serious showering, trains make you feel bit icky, there clean and roomy but i prefer beds any day of the week!!We went to the zoo!In lincoln park,just down road, after we had a cheap burger an chips lunch with my drink Mountain dew that ive become addicted to!The zoo was way better than the one in washington we went to (yes,we like zoos) and it had lots of apes and polar bears and tigers which i put my face up against a thin sheet of glass just as the tiger did,it was pretty kool to be so close to a tiger,it was huge, beauitful golden eyes, very surreal. The had lions too and all sorts, i think thats wot zoo's are all about......anyway twas a fun few hours, we then went back 2 hostel after a lil shop in supermarket where i bought fruit and vegetables, something thats a luxury here, most the meals you get that are cheap are fattening. Im just sat here chilling in my new obama tee i got in new orleans, its cool. Our room has a view of the whole city, from a distance mind, but its like ny with its distinctive skyline and nice architecture, anyway, much love, more chicago to see tomorow!
