Well it has been a boring day here in Quito!

Instead of going to Bolivia, we thought we would go somewhere else because its too high there for me. We decided we would go to Cuba for a couple of weeks. We found a really good tour cycling around Cuba. We went to the tour office only to be told to book it online. On our way back to the hotel we went past a travel agent who informed us the cost of flight tickets. I can't even tell you what the cost was without wanting to laugh!

It would be cheaper for me and Kerry to fly to england, book a 2 week all inclusive holiday to Cuba, spend 2 weeks in Cuba, Fly to England and then fly back to south America! What a bloody joke. We have now decided that we are going to spend longer in Brazil which should be just as good.

We have now moved from a lovely comfortable hotel to a small room in a hostal. Its not that bad but I like the hotel better. In the hotel there is a hairdryer to dry your socks when you have washed them! The hostal we are in now is called Amazonas.

We waved Vinnie, Sarah and Jamie off this afternoon which was sad. That just left me, Kerry and Rebecca. We had crepes again at Suzette which was nice. We waved her off about 20 minutes ago which was sad. It is going to take her from today until friday morning to get home! I thought Australia was closer to here than England! Obviously not!

I am really fed up with my glasses. I should have bought perscription sunglasses before I left! If I wear the sunglasses I am blind as a bat, if I wear the glasses I can see but I am squinting so much I get a headache!!!! Silly Me!

Oh well, there is only so much I can write about a day as boring as this one! Bye x
