Seeing as new Zealand doesn't exactly have all that many monasteries we decided not to take his advice.

Although it is covered in grave sites it's a very peaceful place quite earie in ways.
Took a lot of photos, watched a movie and even happened to see a pilgrimage through which added to the eeriness especially when they all repeated the prayers in this quiet sacred feeling place.
After a wee time here we navigated our way along the cute and often scary tiny country roads and headed for Galway.
