Siem Reap's Day of chill
KIM: A little bit of a lie in was definitely necessary today - too many early starts for what is supposed to be a holiday! We've done more sightseeing in the last two days in Siem Reap than the whole trip so far!! After a large breakfast (thank you Americans for introducing pancakes, bacon and maple syrup to the world!) we headed straight for the pool... After two hours of pure chill time it was time for our massage, which we had booked at Bodia Spa. We arrived there in time for our massage, but were then tuk tuked transferred to their newer spa, a blissful oasis in this dusty city. Crossing a little walkway over a manicured pond we were led to the reception room for cold tea and colder towels. On to our couples massage room, where we indulged in an hour long aromatherapy massage by excellent masseuses. Bodia Spa (www.bodia-spa.com) was ultimate pampering and chillaxed and happy we tuk tuked back to our lovely hotel for some more pool time.
Dinner at Khmer Kitchen (when you discover a good thing, stick to it!) was again a taste sensation!
