Hi everyone!!! Sorry it's been SO long since I last wrote on here but the internet was down for a few days and I've also been so busy I haven't had a chance to come online at all. Camp is great although it's started to get really hot now. I still haven't tanned much though because I'm so obsessive with the sun tan lotion, all the kids laugh at me! I love my kids as hard as they are sometimes, they've become a lot more responsive too me now and like to hug me, it's so sweet. Yesterday I had my day off so a few of us went to stay in New Paltz on Tuesday night in a motel. It was quite a small (hick) town haha and we went for a meal in the night and to a small bar afterwards. The next morning we took a bus to Lake Minnewaska National Park, it was beautiful but it rained most of the day (typical) so we only spent a short while swimming in the lake and a lady we met there led us to a place where we could pick blueberries, they were gorgeous! Oh all the kids think it's hilarious when I say food is 'gorgeous' they are like 'you can only say that about a person!!' oh and when I say 'me' instead of 'my' they copy me in what sounds like a Jamaican accent haha. We came back last night and sat in the staff lounge watching Edward Scissorhands. My kids were camping out but because I was off I couldn't go so I had the cabin to myself for the night, it was lovely and quiet! My kids are only here for 2 more weeks before they leave, today I found out I will move into another 6th grade cabin, my friend Rachael's one because she's the only cabin counselor in hers. It's good because it's the only other cabin were I know the kids almost as well as mine because we do activities together, they all seem pretty happy to have me but it just means I have to move all my stuff to another cabin again!!
Oh by the way Hayley is in Boston!!! How lucky is she! The 9th graders have gone for a few days and she gets back late tonight so I've hardly seen her recently! She's enjoying herself too though but she says her girls are easier to handle than mine because they're older and clean up after themselves, mine are so messy it's unbelievable!
I don't think I have anything else to say really, camp days are pretty much the same every day, they're so tiring but really fun and I still get to see the other counselors more than I thought which is great. I'm running low on dairy milk though and I'm really missing Galaxy chocolate so if anyone wants to send any to me feel free haha. Actually any mail would be appreciated because everyone else seems to get some! So here's the address in case anyone wants to send a letter or anything :)

I think that's basically all I have to say, it's hard to write about camp it's just so packed of small details I can't really describe! I'll speak to you all soon though when I have more to say and fingers crossed I should have a phone card soon, a $5 one which has loads of minutes, I'm gonna go the mall on saturday to get one. Speak soon, love you all and get writing letters (and adding chocolate haha)
