HAPPY 4TH JULY!!! This is a really quick one before I have to go to 'snack and go' haha. We were meant to have a special event day today for Independence Day but the weather has been a bit iffy so we are having it on sunday when the weather is apparently going to be nice! Everything is going well and I don't really have too much to say, each day is similar just with different activities but it's so much fun even if it is hard work! My girls are good in the main but the twins can be a nightmare, they have tantrums that should only be thrown by a two year old...seriously sometimes I have to walk away!! haha but the rest are great and everyone else at camp is, I love this place! We have tomorrow night off and are going out for a meal so we can feel like young adults again rather than old single parents!! Then we have wednesday off so we're going to organise a trip out and hopefully stay away from camp for the tuesday night before (which we also have off). Sharing cabins is fine, the kids go to bed about 10pm and they don't moan too much about it. It was just me in with them last night so I was a bit worried but I was really strict with them from as soon as we got in the cabin until bed, I had to shout at one too because she was bouncing on the bed in her muddy shoes and she started crying...oops! But they have to know who is boss! I didn't think I had it in me to be in charge of 8 kids but this is definately bringing out new things in me which is good. Anyway have to go now!
