Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
If someone were to ask me right now what I did today, it's great that I could say "oh, not much. Ate breakfast, went to the store, sat around, and then got ready to go to PERU!" My taxi comes in a few hours. I barely fit everything into my backpack, but I somehow managed. I can't believe I'm leaving, but I'm really excited to get to Lima.
Went to club "Sunset" on Friday, which turned out to be a mix between a restaurant, a strip club, and a disco. Learned that a shot of whiskey does not exist... it equals 5, which I ended up just throwing out. Beds at clubs apparently do exist...hmm... interesting. Went home semi early = 4am. Saturday met with Cassandra one last time over dulce de leche pancakes, and then said goodbye.
Yesterday went to a soccer game with Facundo and Juan Pablo. Learned some new Lundfardo (che Baludo... Erin this one's for you to spread around Kentucky), was told that my hotdog was made from siamese cats, and i almost believed them, had to wear my purse inside my jacket and stay between my boys at all times because, as the half price tickets indicated, soccer games are not all too common for women to attend. The stands literally were shaking, and the whole time, even while nothing is happening the fans are singing songs of Argentina, marijuana, cocain, running to Mar del Plata, and Police... those are the words I picked out at least. It was the perfect way to spend my last day in Buenos Aires, and now I'm off to Peru. Un beso.
