Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
Ok, so I tried to upload photos on here and for some reason it is taking far too long. I hopefully will figure it out soon, but as for right now, you will just have to imagen all of the beautiful places I am visiting.
Friday I explored China town here which is really close to where I live and then after a short siesta, went out to the neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, which is known for its night life. It's hard getting used to people here starting their nights when usually I would be ending mine. Most clubs don't even open until about 1am, and people stay out until around 5 or 6 usually. I went home at 4:30, after going to some reggae bar, budweiser bar, and a cool two story disco with all red lighting and white couches, and this seemed to be a bit early.
Saturday and Sunday I explored the many different street fairs of Buenos Aires that only happen on the weekends. I lounged around in bars, explored antique shops, drank Matte, watched the many tango dancers, and went to museums. It was fantastic.
This city is so big it will be hard to get to know all of it in a month. I have already decided I will have to come back at some point. I have too much I want to do: horse races, futbol games, street fairs, museums, snowboarding, waterfalls, small beach towns, etc. etc. etc.
However, it is raining today, so I may just go partake in the wonderful tradition of siestas.
un beso.
