I agree! Congrats on your bravery! An amazing experience.
Matt
Wow! That looks awesome! I don't know how the girl who hates to fly managed to jump out of a plane at 15000 feet! You did it though so well done. xxx

I cannot allow you to get away with your unbecoming and uncultured sideswipe at The Lord of the Rings in your latest blog post and in way of retribution I have summoned a swarm of Nazgûl from the blackest depths of Mordor to come and assail you. You may find this somewhat excessive but I feel that bodily dismemberment by the servants of darkness really is the only way you will learn.
There's not really a lot to report from the Manchester scene at present. I went to a brilliant night called 'Twist and Shout' at The Venue last night where Indie kids dance the night away to classic pop, funk and soul from the 60s & 70s (I shall have to introduce you to the delights of this upon your return). This was followed up this morning by a highly satisfactory trip to Top Trough in my bed clothes for a sausage and bacon bread-based food item (which I refuse to call a 'barm').
I would like to add to Carly's news bulletin that a ferry has run aground off the coast of Blackpool resulting in thousands of packets of McVities HobNobs washing ashore. No prizes for guessing which oat-based snack at rock bottom prices will be pulling in the punters at Salford market tomorrow.
Carly
Ps. Highlight of my day? The countdown board spelling out "sodpies" when they were choosing the letters. It was pure hilarity.
Carly
Ello Hancock. I am loving your blog posts, you write with such a flair. Did you pick up such an amusing writing style from my bandwagon?
News of the week: Britney went schizo and got carted off again, some MP paid his two toff high society flamboyant thoroughly dispicable sons like 80 grand to "work for him" while they were students. The tabloids have enjoyed mocking them, you'd have been in cheap entertainment heaven. We will have snow tomorrow. I think I might wear a dress and boots to uni to try and encapsulate the chic cosompolitan ice maiden look. Shame you only have one look to choose from which is sweaty, ruddy faced backpacker for the next 6 months really....
OH!! And I am VERY excited to hear about your skydive (sorry Mrs.H...). You think you get scared flying, you are going to PAP your PANTS. And the speed that you fall means all which you excrete in fear will hit the bloke you are strapped to. Looking forward to the photos!!!!!! Love you, be safe please xxx
PS. By choosing a moving face, my email can express several simultaneous emotions which is more than anything else you two have to offer so ha. xx

Wot! Biscuit coloured ALL over?
Jenny
Glad you are educating yourself as well as getting tanned. I hope you realise that your arrogance about being 'biscuit coloured' (but which kind of biscuit I ask- custard cream?) is sure to result in a crisp burning. I will gleefully await this in the pictures.
You are not missing anything in England. The weather has been crap and the only highlight in my life at the moment is Gordon Ramsay cooking programmes. I worry for myself.
Excited to hear about doing as skydive- make sure you get pictures or a video if you can. Missing you muchly.
Lots of love, Jen xxx
PS. this is the only face that changes colour. I hope this will end the raging and slightly disconcerting facial battle between Carly and my mother

Just you keep breathing those sulphur fumes in! They're meant to be amazing for your lungs (or so they told us in Iceland!)

Dan The Scouse

Carly
How does one spell mystery? Is that right? So don't have the energy to lean over and look through the dictionary. Looks like I better apply for a mc-A level.....
Ps. Oh my god I just got the sum wrong!!!!!
Carly
Now now, lets not laugh too hard at the mac-a levels, it is the best qualification my sister is likely to get.
On a separate note, Katie, this weeks telly is full of your sort of programmage: "dolphin murder mystry" on channel 5, the final of celebrity big brother hi-jack (did you watch the start of this, wouldn't surprise me), and the crowning glory of this weeks television scheduling: hollyoaks special set in London where OB's bird comes to find andrew lloyd weber and wow him with her singing skills.
New Zealand or England with that blinding televisual schedule? Know where I'd rather be!!!xxx
