Hung over this morning so slept a lot of the bus trip to Venice, nothing to see except freeway anyway. Arrive at about 3, got settled in then took the ferry from the campsite to the central city of Venice. Very cool seeing the city right on the waters edge, no cars at all, just people and gondola's which is strange but you get use to it. Arrived and seen the Bridge of Sighs between the prison and dodges palace - massive and amazing artwork/sculptor work, St Marks Square - could have sat here all night listening to a little Jazz music, and RialtoBridge. Went to a glass blowing/making demonstration which was cool, amazing to see how fast he made things and how accurate he could make them. After tea we went for a gondola ride through the canals which was very relaxing enjoying champagne which was fun taking in all the sights of Venice and seeing some strange things like the front door on the waters edge. Must admit thought we were going to take in water at some points or crash into someone the way the punters take corners. There were heaps and heaps of shops around too with most selling masks or glass
