Last day at Moholoholo...take 2! It wasn't quite as exciting as my last day last time, I'm still going to keep that as my OFFICIAL last day. Took Katrina the baby honey badger out for a run around. That was pretty fun. She was pretty stubborn though, didn't want to go back in. We fed her a live baby guinea pig. Today I helped rescue 2 honey badgers. They had been found on a pig farm and if we didn't collect them the farmer would just shoot them. Moholoholo have rescued 9 from that farm in a year. Pretty standard day apart from that!

Morning rounds in my new group! Not too difficult though. I sat with Rocky the white rhino over breakfast. He is lovely, it's amazing to see him after I helped rescue him. Shame his vision is impaired though. We can only hope it will improve like Katrina the honey badger's did. Erin, one of the rangers and student coordinators, took us on a tour of the rehab. First full day back at Moholo. I have been put into a different group for rounds which will be nice as I will get to work some other animals a bit more. Today some people were away in Kruger so I looked after a 3 month old duiker called Oak which has a broken leg. I bottle fed her milk and cut her some browse to much on. She was lovely!! I also fed Lula. She is so different now. So big and speedy!! I helped feed the cheetahs and the vultures today as well.
