First full day at new project. Today was a public holiday (youth day) so the vet clinic was closed. The family I am living with own a riding school so this morning I went riding in the bush for a little while. Then we went for a look around town. When in town we got a phone call to say Dr Rogers the vet was going to Dart a buffalo in 5 minutes. So we rushed to the practice. We went out to a game reserve to try and capture an injured Buffalo. We spent about an hour looking for it but couldn't find it so ended up going back home again. Nevertheless it was fun to do something a bit different. Didn't do a lot else all day. Mostly slept to be honest!
