Today we had to be at the practice for 7.20am as we had to go to Gravelotte to dart 3 sable bulls to vaccinate them and measure their horns. Everything went perfectly with the first 2 bulls but the 3rd bull started reacting badly and its heart stopped beating and it stopped breathing. They tried to do CPR but it was unsuccessful. This is a terrible thing as Sable bulls are extremely valuable. They are not sure what happened but it was possibly a bad reaction to the ketamine.
